Reason for the Shortage
- Hospira has lidocaine with epinephrine presentations on shortage due to manufacturing delays.
- APP has Xylocaine with epinephrine presentations on shortage due to increased demand for the product.

- Hospira has lidocaine 1% with epinephrine 50 mL vials on back order and the company estimates a release date of May 2013. The 30 mL vials are being allocated.
Lidocaine 1.5% with epinephrine
- Hospira has lidocaine 1.5% with epinephrine 30 mL vials on back order and the company estimates a release date of July 2013. Lidocaine 1.5% with epinephrine in 5 mL glass ampules is on back order with an estimated release date of May 2013.
Lidocaine 2% with epinephrine
- Hospira has lidocaine 2% with epinephrine (1:200,000) 20 mL vials are on back order and the company estimates a release date of June 2013.
