1.5 gram vial, package of 25 (NDC 25021-0119-20)

Reason for the Shortage

  • APP could not provide a reason for the shortage.
  • Sagent states manufacture of cefuroxime 1.5 gram was suspended in March, 2013. No further production is planned.
  • Hospira discontinued cefuroxime 1.5 gram and 7.5 gram vials in January, 2013.
