Reason for the Shortage
- Merck states the shortage is related to issues with supply and demand.
- Merck is the sole manufacturer of follitropin beta injection.

Estimated Resupply Dates
Merck has Follistim AQ 75 IU and 150 IU vials on back order and the company estimates a release date of June 2013. Follistim AQ 300 IU, 600 IU, and 900 IU cartridges are on allocation.
