Per ASHP's bylaws, honorary members are persons who shall be elected for life by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors from among individuals who are or have been especially interested in, or who have made outstanding contributions to, pharmacy practice in organized health care systems. Honorary members may vote or hold office if otherwise eligible for active membership.  No dues shall be required of honorary members.

Nominating Instructions

ASHP members are invited, annually, to suggest nominees in writing with substantiating evidence. Current ASHP Board members and ASHP staff are not eligible. When the annual call for nominations is issued, a date deadline for nominating is stated.  Nominations may be made via hard-copy mail or electronically.  Nominations should be sent to:
