Medical Insurance
ASHP currently pays up to 82.50% of employee’s medical coverage and up to 50% of dependent coverage depending on medical coverage selected.
Dental Insurance
ASHP currently pays 100% of employee dental premiums and 50% of dependent coverage.
Other Insurances
Staff members receive Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability, Travel Accident, Dependent Life.
401(k) Savings and Investment Plan
Staff members may contribute up to the IRS maximum of $16,500 of their annual salary in pre-tax and/or Roth post-tax contributions. Staff members age 50 or older are eligible to contribute an additional $5,500 catch-up for 2009. ASHP matches up to 4% dollar for dollar.
Vacation Leave
Full time staff members earn 3 weeks of vacation during the first 5 years of employment. The accrual will increase to 4 weeks starting with the 61st month of employment.
Sick Leave
Full time staff members earn 12 days of leave per year.
Personal Leave
Full time staff members receive 24 hours of personal leave each January 1.
Flexible Spending
Staff members may set aside up to $6,000 tax free dollars to pay for medical care expenses and up to $5,000 for dependent care expenses.
Transportation Assistance
Full-time non-exempt staff members receive up to $60 per month for transportation expenses.
Transportation Allowance
Staff members may set aside tax free dollars to pay for public transportation or monthly parking expenses.
Tuition Assistance
ASHP will reimburse 50% of the cost of job-related college courses.
Credit Union
Staff members may take advantage of the open membership to ASHP employees at a local credit union.
Employee Assistance Program
Staff members are eligible for professional counseling for issues relating to drug alcohol abuse, stress management, parenting, family and marital issues, legal and financial problems.
