As the voice of ASHP members in the electoral process, the PAC helps ASHP communicate its policy positions to elected officials, as well as candidates for office. The PAC is a way to pool our resources and support Congressional candidates who understand and promote pharmacists’ involvement in patient care. A healthy, well funded PAC sends a message that our members are prepared to play an active role in the legislative process and ensure that pharmacists remain a viable presence in our health care system.
