The Patient Care Impact Program is a unique 6-month program for pharmacists designed and developed by The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. The goal of the program is to provide long-term, experiential, mentor-based training that will enable participants to make a significant impact on the care of patients.
Each program is comprised of multiple components which may include (but is not limited to):
- educational programming kickoff live at the Summer Meeting
- brainstorming session with mentors and co-participants live at the Summer Meeting OR via teleconference
- monthly teleconferences for status updates, group mentoring, and problem-solving
- poster presentation at the Midyear Clinical Meeting
