Leadership Journal Club

The New Practitioners Forum Leadership and Career Development Advisory Group has developed this resource to assist individuals in establishing a leadership journal club at your practice site. Through participation in the leadership journal club, individuals will be able to:

  • Define leadership in the profession of pharmacy Describe key concepts in effective pharmacy leadership
  • Formulate strategies to improve leadership skills

Getting Started

Six key leadership concepts have been selected and under each of these concepts is a list of relevant articles.  Select an article of interest, and you will be directed to the following information to assist you in facilitating a journal club discussion:

  • Discussion questions
  • Follow-up Points
  • Take Home Points
  • References

Note: Some articles may be found under multiple topics.

All of these tools should be utilized for a successful journal club experience. Once you have covered one concept, move on to the next!
