The Executive Committee of the ASHP New Practitioners Forum, comprised of five new practitioners appointed by the ASHP President, directs the activities and programs of the Forum, as well as advises ASHP staff on ways to better meet the needs of ASHP's new practitioner members. The Executive Committee meets twice a year, at the Summer Meeting in June and at the Midyear Clinical Meeting in December. All ASHP new practitioner members are eligible to serve on the Executive Committee. Those interested in serving on the Executive Committee should submit the following:
- Cover letter with brief description of his/her qualifications
- Curriculum vita (CV)
- Two letters of recommendation

AJHP
New Practitioners Forum column
The New Practitioners Forum column is published on a regular basis in the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP). The column features articles that address the special professional needs of pharmacists early in their careers as they transition from students to practitioners. Authors include new practitioners or others with expertise in a topic of interest to new practitioners. AJHP readers are invited to submit topics or articles for this column to the New Practitioners Forum, c/o Jill Haug, 7272 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814 (301-664-8821 or newpractitioners@ashp.org).
AJHP Volunteer
Volunteer to serve as a reviewer or contributor for AJHP! Your contribution could take the form of an editorial, clinical review, therapy update, report, or commentary. Contact the AJHP division to get involved.
