The Executive Committee of the ASHP New Practitioners Forum, comprised of five new practitioners appointed by the ASHP President, directs the activities and programs of the Forum, as well as advises ASHP staff on ways to better meet the needs of ASHP's new practitioner members. The Chair of the Executive Committee also participates in strategic planning meetings of the ASHP Board of Directors. The Executive Committee meets twice a year, at the Summer Meeting in June and at ASHP Headquarters in January.

All ASHP new practitioner members are eligible to serve on the Executive Committee. Those interested in serving on the Executive Committee should following the submission guidelines outlined below:

NEW THIS YEAR:  All submissions should be sent via email to ashpevp@ashp.org and include:

• Nominee's Curriculum Vitae
• Completed Appointment Recommendation Submission Forum
  • Includes an area to provide comments on his or her (1) qualifications, (2) experience, (3) areas of special expertise, (4) previous involvement with ASHP or state affiliates, and (5) any special characteristics that will help ASHP achieve a balance of perspectives and diversity.
