Description: The call to change the practice of health-system pharmacy has gone out to those in the profession.  But you're saying to yourself; "Why do we need to change? I like my current job and do not want it to change." With growing talk of health-care reform and increasing economic constraints, the call to change health-system pharmacy has been issued. This webinar targeted for new practitioners will cover important initiatives of pharmacy past, which have shaped what is called health-system pharmacy today.  Where did clinical pharmacy get its start?  When did pharmacists start playing a larger role within the medical team?  How has the improved training of pharmacy students affected health-system pharmacy?  Enjoy this opportunity to listen and learn as three practitioners with three uniquely different backgrounds give their perspective on health-system pharmacy and take a look into their crystal balls to try and forecast the future for our profession.
