The Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology’s Executive Committee has three Section Advisory Groups (SAG) and two task forces to address the needs of members in the new Section. The names of these groups are:

• SAG on Ambulatory Care Informatics
• SAG on Clinical Information Systems
• SAG on Pharmacy Informatics Education
• SAG on Pharmacy Operations Automation

How to Get Involved

Involvement in the Section's Educational Steering Committee is another opportunity for involvement. The Section's Executive Committee often seeks volunteers throughout the year but go through the selection and appointment process at the Summer Meeting. Appointed members are usually notified by mid July of every year.
