Kathleen S. Pawlicki, M.S., FASHP

Kathleen S. Pawlicki, M.S., FASHP is Director of Pharmaceutical Services at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Wayne State University and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan. Pawlicki is completing her term as a Director-at-Large for the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers. Additionally she is Chair for the ASHP Task Force on Caring for Patients Served by Specialty Suppliers and an alternate member on the ASHP Committee on Nominations. Previous ASHP involvement includes member of the ASHP Council on Administrative Affairs, Chair of the Programming Committee for the Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers, and an ASHP House of Delegates member. Active membership also extends to the affiliate state level where Pawlicki currently serves as a Board of Trustees member for the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation. Previous involvement includes board member for the Michigan Pharmacists Association and President of the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

James Rinehart, M.S.,FASHP is Director of Pharmacy at BryanLGH Medical Center, Lincoln, Nebraska, a 656 licensed bed tertiary care regional medical center on two hospital campuses. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He completed an administrative residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Rinehart is a member of the clinical advisory board of the Institute for Safe Medication Practice’s Medication Safety Alert newsletter, acute care edition. He is active with the Nebraska Pharmacists Association, serving as a member of the NPA Board of Directors and as Education Committee Chair. In 2003, he received the NPA Health-System Pharmacist of the Year Award. He is currently Chair of the Section Advisory Group on Workload and Productivity Monitoring and served as a member of the ASHP Council on Professional Affairs.

Paul Mosko, R.Ph, M.S., FASHP

Paul J. Mosko, M.S., FASHP is Director of Pharmacy Services at Good Samaritan Hospital and Health Center, Dayton, Ohio. He holds an academic appointment at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy where he lectures on medication safety and performance improvement. Mosko received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University and his master’s degree in hospital pharmacy from The Ohio State University. He completed an ASHP-accredited residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Mosko has served in the ASHP House of Delegates, as a member of the ASHP Council on Legal Affairs, and on ASHP task forces and focus groups. He has served on ASHP affiliate positions in Ohio as President, Secretary, and Director-at-Large. He currently serves on the Ohio Board of Pharmacy Rules Review Committee. Green-belt trained in Six Sigma/Lean, Mosko’s focus is on creating efficient and safe medication management processes in both acute care and ambulatory practice settings.

Patricia Killingsworth, R.Ph., BS Pharm

Patricia Killingsworth, R.Ph., BS Pharm is the National Pharmacy Manager for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) in Denver, Colorado. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Washington, completed an ASHP pharmacy practice residency, and completed a specialty residency in hospital pharmacy administration at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Killingsworth serves on many national, regional, and state committees within CHI to represent pharmacists on pertinent topics such as medication safety, bar coding, 24/7 pharmacy services, anticoagulation therapy, pain management, infection control, and leadership development. Her current and past professional association experiences include member of ASHP Council on Organizational Affairs, Vice Chair and Chair of ASHP Commission on Affiliate Relations, member of ASHP Foundation Development Committee, multi-year ASHP delegate, Chair of the Idaho Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ISHP), Professional Affairs, member of the ISHP Executive Committee, and Secretary/Treasurer and former Executive Director of ISHP. Killingsworth was awarded the ISHP Pharmacist of the Year in 2005.

Scott J. Knoer, M.S., Pharm.D.

Scott J. Knoer, is the Director of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also holds academic appointments at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and its graduate school in social and administrative pharmacy. Knoer received his B.A. from Creighton University and his Pharm.D. from the University of Nebraska. He completed a combined residency and M.S. in hospital pharmacy at the University of Kansas.
Knoer is completing a 2-year term as Director-at-Large for the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers. He has served in the ASHP House of Delegates (2005−2006), as Chair of the Section Advisory Group on Leadership Development (2004−2006), and on ASHP’s Commission on Affiliate Relations (2006). He has also served in various state affiliate roles in Texas and Minnesota. Knoer currently serves as Chair of the University Health- System Consortium (UHC) Performance Improvement and Compliance Council

Todd Karpinski, Pharm.D, M.S.

Todd Karpinski, is Director of Pharmacy Services at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his Pharm.D. from Drake University and Master of Science in hospital pharmacy from the University of Kansas. He completed the ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice management residency at KU Hospital. Karpinski has held pharmacy leadership positions in both academic and community hospitals in various parts of the country.
Within the ASHP Pharmacy Practice Managers section, several leadership roles have included Chair, Management Development Section Advisory Group and Chair, Education Programming Committee. He is serving a second term on ASHP Council on Pharmacy Management. Karpinski is active within affiliate chapters and is currently President-Elect of Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists (ICHP). He has also served as ICHP Director of Professional Affairs, ASHP delegate (ICHP), and President-Elect of Gulf Coast Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Karpinski was honored with the 2007 ICHP President’s Award.

David Chen is the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists' (ASHP) Director, Pharmacy Practice Sections and the Director for the Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers. Responsibilities for ASHP include managing ASHP’s Pharmacy Practice Sections and staff liaison for the Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers Executive Committee.
David has also published and made multiple presentations on quality, practice models, and methods of reimbursement for medication therapy management. Before joining ASHP he served the role as Director of Pharmacy at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, MD. Prior experience includes Director of Pharmacy positions in Texas and Florida, as well as Marketing & Sales and Regional Human Resources & Recruiting for a national pharmacy management organization. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and received his MBA from Loyola College in Maryland.
