SAG Charges
- Facilitate an increase in the volume and applicability of publications that enhance and promote administrative pharmacy practice;
- Identify topics and authors for AJHP submission;
- Contribute articles to AJHP’s Management Consultation column;
- Mentoring future authors in the area of administrative pharmacy practice;
- Developing strategies to engage section members to publish articles that enhance or promote administrative pharmacy;
- Facilitate and increase the quality and quantity of communications and publications for the web site that enhances and promotes pharmacy management practice;
- Provide feedback and recommendations to ASHP staff for maintaining and improving the Section’s website content and organization;
- Facilitate and increase the quality and quantity of communications and publications for the SPPM and AJHP newsletter communications that enhance and promotes pharmacy practice management.
Method for accomplishing charge of SAG on Communications and Publications:
- Include in membership of SAG a AJHP staff member as a standing member and as ad hoc members, a) ASHP marketing staff member, b) ASHP public relations staff member, c) ASHP special publications staff member.
- Assign members of this SAG to provide publication and communication guidance to the following Section SAGs via participating in their monthly calls: a) SAG on Manager Development, b) SAG on Quality and Compliance, c) SAG on Leadership, and d) SAG on Pharmacy Business Management.
- Information obtained from participation in the other SAGs will allow the SAG on Publications and Communications to generate and prioritize publication and communication topics for SPPM and ASHP membership through the web, newsletters and AJHP.
- Structure SAG so that “½” of SAG are aligned to other SAGs as liaisons and “½” are charged with re-organizing SPPM web pages and content
