A major commitment of ASHP is the development of therapeutic position statements, which are published in AJHP and incorporated into the annual update of Best Practices for Health-System Pharmacy. These ASHP Statements, Guidelines, and Therapeutics Guidelines comprise the most complete body of continually updated advice available on practice in hospitals and other health systems. ASHP members are encouraged to get involved by drafting, reviewing, or commenting on these important documents.
