National Opportunities
Pharmacy Practice Sections
Pharmacy students are encouraged to get involved in the ASHP Pharmacy Practice Sections. Membership is free and you can join as few or as many as you would like. ASHP's Sections offer you the best way to communicate and interact with colleagues who share the same interests, issues, and challenges. Once you join a Section, you can take full advantage of practice-specific news emails, issue discussion groups, online networking directories, specialized programming at national meetings, and valuable continuing education and leadership opportunities.
State Affiliates
ASHP State Affiliates provide a great way for students to get involved at the state and local level.
Local School-Level (SSHP)
ASHP has a longstanding commitment to pharmacy students, their professional development, and their involvement in the affairs of the Society. While SSHP are not chapters or affiliates of ASHP, they are closely linked to programs, services, and activities of the Pharmacy Student Forum.
