Reason for the Shortage

Akorn could not provide a reason for the shortage.
 

Estimated Resupply Dates

• Akorn has available ephedrine 1 mL ampules (NDC 11098-0515-01) in packages of 25.
• Hospira has available ephedrine 1 mL ampules in packages of 50 (NDC 00409-3073-31). 
• Parenta has 1 mL vials in packages of 25 (NDC 66758-0008-02) on intermittent back order. The company is releasing supplies as they become available.
