Reason for the Shortage
Roxane states the 4% cocaine topical solution has been discontinued and could not provide a reason. The company discontinued the 10% solution in October, 2007.
Estimated Resupply Dates
- Roxane has discontinued both the 40 mg/mL, 4 mL vials and 10 mL vials.
- Lannett has available cocaine topical solution 100 mg/mL in 4 mL vials (NDC 00527-1729-74) and 10 mL vials (NDC 00527-1729-73). The 40 mg/mL 4 mL vials and 10 mL vials are on back order and the company cannot estimate a release date.
