Reason for the Shortage
- American Regent state this shortage is due to increased demand for product.
- APP could not provide a reason for the shortage.
Estimated Resupply Dates
- American Regent has the 50 mL vials (NDC 00517-3950-25) and 100 mL vials (NDC 00517-3900-25) available. The 10 mL vials are on long-term back order.
- APP has calcium gluconate injections available in 10 mL vials (NDC 63323-0311-10), 50 mL vials (NDC 63323-0311-50), and 100 mL vials (NDC 63323-0311-61). The 200 mL vials are on back order and the company cannot estimate a release date.
