6% Dextran 70 in 0.9% Sodium Chloride, BBraun (NDC 00264-1960-10) – discontinued
6% Dextran 70 in Dextrose 5% in Water, Hospira (NDC 00409-1507-03) – discontinued
Intrauterine Irrigation
32% Hyskon 70, Cooper Surgical (NDC 61563-0231-61) – discontinued
Reason for the Shortage
All manufacturers of 6% and 32% Dextran 70 have discontinued these products. The manufacturers would not provide a reason for the discontinuations.
