Reason for the Shortage
Epirubicin products were on back order for unspecified reasons.

- Hospira has all presentations available, including a 2 mg/mL 100-mL vial (NDC 61703-0359-59), a 2 mg/mL 25-mL vial (NDC 61703-0359-93), 2 mg/mL 5-mL vial (NDC 61703-0359-92), a 2 mg/mL 75-mL vial (NDC 61703-0359-91) and a 50 mg lyophilized vial (NDC 61703-0347-35). The company has no plans to continue producing Mayne's former 200 mg lyophilized vial (NDC 61703-0348-59).
- Pfizer has Ellence available in a 2 mg/mL 25 mL vial (NDC 00009-5091-01) and 100 mL vial (NDC 00009-5093-01).
- Bedford has available a 2 mg/mL 25 mL vial (NDC 55390-0207-01) and 100 mL vial (NDC 55390-0208-01).
- Teva has available a 2 mg/mL 25 mL vial (NDC 00703-3067-11) and 100 mL vial (NDC 00703-3069-11).
- Generamedix has available a 2 mg/mL 25-mL vial (NDC 10139-061-25) and 100 mL vial (NDC 10139-061-01).
- Watson has discontinued their product.
