10% in 500 mL Sodium Chloride 0.9% (NDC 00409-7419-03)

Reason for the Shortage

• Baxter discontinued its Gentran 40 products in January 2008.
• Hospira did not provide a reason for the shortage.

Estimated Resupply Dates

Hospira's Dextran 40 products are now available.
