Reason for the Shortage

• Bedford’s product was on back order because the company was changing product NDC numbers.
• APP’s caffeine citrate injection was on back order due to increased demand for product.

• APP has caffeine citrate 20 mg/mL 3-mL vials (NDC 63323-0407-03) available.
• American Regent has caffeine citrate 20 mg/mL 3-mL vials (NDC 00517-0020-10) available.
• Paddock has caffeine citrate 20 mg/mL available in 3-mL vials (NDC 00574-0823-01) and Novaplus 3-mL vials (NDC 00574-0823-08).
