Reason for the Shortage
American Regent states that the shortage was due to increased demand for product. Baxter states this allocation was due to a shortage of raw materials.
Estimated Resupply Dates
Baxter has all products available. The company was previously allocating their premix dopamine products at 70% of customer's previous order history from October 2005 to March 2006. Hospira has all premix dopamine products available except for the 400 mg/500 mL product (NDC 00074-4141-03) which has been discontinued. Hospira also has all dopamine vial products available. B Braun has all premixed products available. American Regent has all dopamine vial products available.
