The ASHP Health Disparities Resource Center offers access to information on ways patients and health care providers, primarily pharmacists, can help reduce racial and ethnic disparities in health care in the U.S. Eliminating health disparities is so important that it is one of only two overarching goals for the United States Healthy People 2010 Objectives, and ASHP is committed to helping achieve that important public health goal.
