About PPS
Staged during ASHP’s Midyear Clinical Meeting, our Personnel Placement Service (PPS) is the industry’s largest and most widely attended national pharmacy recruitment event, and has been for sixty years. With some 1,500 pharmacy students, residents and practitioners in attendance, and close to 400 employers PPS is your shot to garner the attention you seek.

PPS is not included in the Midyear registration. There is a separate fee and registration process. To learn more, please read our rates, deadlines and registration information below.
Who Should Participate
PPS services any pharmacist seeking a position in a hospital or health system including students and new practitioners who are seeking residency (PGY-1 and PGY-2) or fellowship training. In 2008 there were over 1500 pharmacy positions available in the following categories:
- Resident, PGY-1 and PGY-2
- Industry Fellowship
- Clinical Pharmacist
- Clinical Coordinator
- College Faculty
- Associate/Assistant Director, Director, and Manager

Please use the links below to learn more about PPS and obtain a registration form. PPS is conducted on the CareerPharm site at http://www.careerpharm.com/ and will open for job postings in September. You may fill out your registration form to reserve your space at anytime.
Space Allocation
PPS Space is determined by the number (#) of jobs you are recruiting for. All space assignments are allocated for the duration of the event beginning Saturday December 5 – Wednesday December 9. One booth = a 6x6 square draped with a table and three chairs inside. Additional tables are provided to recruiters with 3 or more jobs. These tables are set outside of the booths and are 6 ft long:

Rates, Deadlines and Registration
PPS is not included in your Midyear registration and you must be a Midyear attendee to take part in PPS. PPS registration does not open until late August. Job seeker registration can be processed online at http://www.careerpharm.com/ when the PPS job board opens.
