Advancing Pharmacy Practice in Hospitals Around the Globe

Featuring the Donald E. Francke Medal Lecture
Monday, December 7 , 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
This educational program will include a description of health care delivery models in Australia and Great Britain and the implications of these models for pharmacy practice. There will also be a pearls session, where countries from around the globe describe innovative programs that are advancing pharmacy practice. The session will conclude with the Donald E. Francke Medal Lecture.
Donald E. Francke Medalist, William A. Zellmer, B.S. (Pharmacy), M.P.H., Writer-in-Residence, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, will present a lecture titled, "The Education of a Provincial Pharmacist". The Donald E. Francke Medal was established to honor individuals who have made significant international contributions to hospital pharmacy.

Please join Mr. Zellmer after the Francke Medal lecture to offer congratulations at a special reception for International Registrants. The reception is an opportunity to network with your friends/colleagues from around the world. Light refreshments will be served.

Cancellation policy for the 44th ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition
To receive a full-meeting refund, confirmed registrations must be cancelled in writing on or before November 23 (postmark or fax date). Written cancellations postmarked or faxed November 24 through December 5 will be subject to a $50 handling charge. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations postmarked or faxed before December 6, 2009.
