ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting
Use these instructions if you’ve also registered for both the Midyear and ASHP Advantage Symposia.
- Log in to the ASHP Learning Center (http://ce.ashp.org) using your ASHP login information, username (email address) and password (minimum of 6 characters). If you do not have an ASHP login please follow the directions on the login page to create one.
Important Note: system validates your registration for the meeting to grant you access to process CE unless it is for ASHP Advantage symposia.
- Once you have entered the ASHP Learning Center, click on the “Process Meeting CE” link.
- The 2010 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting should appear on your list of live CE activities, if you registered for the meeting.
- Click start to the right of the meeting title and click on the link to view sessions for each day of the meeting.
- Enter the unique session code (e.g. M12345 – Note: the letter is case sensitive) which was announced during the session, and select the number of hours equal to your participation in the activity from the drop down box and click submit. (Pharmacists should only claim credit for the amount of time they participated in the activity.)
- Repeat this step to record credit for each day of the meeting.
- Click on “submit” button at the page with list your credit totals for each day to receive the attestation page. You must check the box to verify the total hours you claiming for the entire meeting.
- Click “submit” to confirm your participation.
- Complete the overall meeting evaluation and click FINISH button; your CE Statement will appear on the screen.
- Click on the print icon to print your statement.
ASHP Advantage Symposia
Only for those who did NOT register for 2010 Midyear Clinical Meeting.
- Log in to the ASHP Learning Center (http://ce.ashp.org) using your ASHP login information, username (email address) and password (minimum of 6 characters). If you do not have an ASHP login please follow the directions on the login page to create one.
- Once you have entered the ASHP Learning Center, click on “Process Meeting CE” link
- If the symposium does not appear on your list of events on the screen, enter the activity code (e.g. 10447-ADV) which was provided in your materials. Follow the prompts onscreen to complete the process to add it to your list.
- Click on “Start” to the right of the symposium title
- Enter the unique session code (e.g., A12345 – letter is case sensitive) that was announced during the symposium. Select the number of hours equal to your participation in the symposium from the dropdown box and click submit. (Pharmacists should only claim credit for the amount of time they participated in the symposium.)
- Click on “submit” at the page with your total credit for this symposium to receive the attestation page. You must check the box to verify the hours you are claiming for this symposium.
- Click “submit” to confirm your participation.
- Complete the evaluation and click “FINISH” button at the end. Your CE Statement will appear on the screen.
- Click the print icon to print your statement. Repeat these steps to claim CE for each symposium you attended.
Exhibitor CE Instructions
Exhibitors who are members and/or customers of ASHP and have submitted exhibitor badge information for the 2010 Midyear Clinical Meeting before the meeting starts can process CE online at the meeting instead of waiting until January 2011.
- Go to ASHP Exhibitor CE site at http://www.ashp.org/exhibitorce/
- Login with your ASHP username and password
- Click to select 2010 Midyear Clinical Meeting from the dropdown list of meeting (Note: this meeting will appear on December 4, 2010)
- Select your exhibiting company name from the list of exhibiting company
- Select your name from the list of exhibitors registered for the 2010 Midyear Clinical Meeting to work at the booth
Important: Your first and last name provided for your badge information by your exhibiting company must match exactly as the first and last names on your ASHP account. (e.g., Bob Hope on the badge information cannot be used for Robert Hope on your ASHP account.)
If your names do not match – you will not see your name on the list and you must contact ASHP Customer Service Center toll free at (866) 279-0681 (United States and Canada only).to change your badge information.
If you registered onsite as an exhibitor, you must wait until January 15, 2011 to process CE. Gives us time upload the meeting data to our database.
- One you selected your name from the list, then you will follow the same process as an attendee
- Click on “start” next to ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and click on the links for each day to find the sessions you attended.
- Enter the unique session code (e.g. M12345 – note letter is case sensitive) which was announced during the session and select the number of hours equal to your participation in the session from the dropdown box and click the “submit” button. Pharmacists should only claim credit for the amount of time they participated in the activity.)
- Repeat this step to record credit for each day of the meeting
- Click on “submit” on the list with your credit totals for each day of the meeting. You must check the box to verify your totals and attest to the hours you are claiming.
- Click to confirm your participation.
- Complete the overall meeting evaluation and click “FINISH” button – your CE statement for the meeting will appear on your screen.
- Click the print icon to print your completed CE Statement for the meeting.
