This year, ASHP will transport you to the Downtown Disney District where you can customize your own evening! Located in the heart of Anaheim, the Downtown Disney District is a lively promenade featuring something for everyone; open-air cafes, unique shopping, lively entertainment, nightclubs, a movie theater, and more! Special event maps will be provided in advance to help you plan your evening. Remember to bring your badge!
ASHP is excited to announce that Midyear attendees will have exclusive access (with your badge) to three locations in Downtown Disney: Tortilla Jo's, Uva Bar, and Naples! Redeem your drink tickets at one of these three locations. While there, enjoy light hors d'oeuvres in specified VIP reserved locations, and make sure to stop by Tortilla Jo's to listen to the Grammy Award winning Mariachi Divas as they perform several times throughout the evening!
Ticket Info: Each full time registered attendee, one day Wednesday/Thursday registrant, and registered exhibitor will receive two drink tickets when they pick up their meeting badge in Anaheim. Ticket value is $5, and can be redeemed at Tortilla Joes, Uva Bar, or Naples for one non alcoholic beverage or use two $5 tickets for one alcoholic beverage.
Dining: Advanced dinner reservations are highly recommended as the Downtown Disney area is a popular destination this time of year! Reservations can be made in advance through the Anaheim Convention Center's Restaurant Reservation Center or on-site at the Restaurant Reservation Desk, located in the Main Lobby of the Anaheim Convention Center. Look for Featured Restaurants in the Downtown Disney District and Remember to show your badge and save! [PDF] at participating restaurants!
Disney Tickets: Buy your discounted Disney Tickets, including the special discounted Disneyland Twilight tickets today (the Wednesday, December 8, 8:00 p.m. showing of the new World of Color spectacular at the California Adventure Park is highly recommended)! Enjoy the show and then make the short walk over to Downtown Disney to meet up with your friends and colleagues to continue the fun! Ticket store closes 9 pm PST on December 3, 2010.
Transportation: Shuttle bus service will be provided, 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm, to/ from all meeting hotels except the Disney hotels, which are within walking distance of Downtown Disney.
