1. Your registration to the MCM allows you to participate in the showcase (no additional fees are necessary).
2. Do your homework.
- Outline which sites you want to visit during the showcase.
- Find out the date and time those sites will be at the showcase.
- Look at the diagram of the showcase and know where those sites will be located in the hall.
3. Sites that only have one program will have smaller booths. Sites that have multiple programs may be displaying at larger booths.
4. Programs are listed by site, not by specific type of residency program offered.
5. Participating sites ONLY exhibit during ONE time slot. They DO NOT exhibit at ALL sessions. Use the following key to see the time when the sites you want to see are displaying:
| Series # |
Date/Time |
| 4000 Series #s |
Monday, December 6, 1-4 p.m. |
| 5000 Series #s |
Tuesday AM, December 7, 8-11a.m. |
| 6000 Series #s |
Tuesday PM, December 7, 1-4 p.m. |
6. For showcase updates, including additional sites exhibiting or changes in time slots, make sure and look at the News and Views at the MCM during showcase .
7. Not enough time to talk to the sites you're most interested in? Ask the program representatives if they are available at another time during the meeting to talk with you.
8. Some programs are also involved in the Personal Placement Services (PPS). This allows time for one on one interviews, but requires an additional fee to participate in this process. http://pps.ashp.org/
9. Be respectful of each program's time. Have your questions prepared before you visit the them at the showcase. If you are a student who will not be completing a residency in the next year, please be respectful of both the programs and other candidates who are looking for a match during the upcoming year.
Good luck to all prospective residents and residency programs for the 2011-2012 residency year!
