This open form will provide an opportunity for residency program directors and preceptors from VA programs to discuss issues concerning residency training in the VA System with VA central, ASHP Commission on Credentialing, ASHP accreditation staff; and their peers. This is an excellent opportunity to network with other practitioners that work in the Veterans Administration.

Have breakfast with one of the Accreditation Services Division (ASD) lead surveyors and have all of your questions answered about getting your residency training program started. Members of ASD will be available at roundtables to provide individualized curbside consults to those that need more information. A great way to get great input early in the residency year!

Open Hearing -Board Certification and PGY2 Residency Program Directors / Preceptors
Come join the ASHP Commission on Credentialing to talk about hot topics related to board certification for PGY2 programs. Bring your thoughts and questions regarding the new certification process for ambulatory care practitioners. Discussion will also include whether expansion should occur in other PGY2 residency areas that currently do not require board certification.
