All Together and Better—Maximizing the Experience for Board, Volunteers, and Staff and Affiliate Idea Swap

This year’s Affiliate Volunteer Forum will be a two-part session. The first part of the Forum will be a session addressing how association components—board, volunteers and staff—can work together to move the association forward. This presentation will outline tips and techniques for coordination among these entities. It will also define the leadership issues related to the relationships between the board, volunteers and staff. Then, the presentation will outline how your association can optimize these components to operate effectively in the changing association environment.
The speaker for the first section will be Judy Gray, the President and CEO of the Florida Society of Association Executives.
The second part of the Affiliate Volunteer Forum will be an affiliate idea swap. This session will provide an informal environment to swap ideas and challenges related to critical issues for state associations. This part will provide opportunities to discuss proven strategies and practical insights that have successfully been put to the test by other associations and explore how they might work for your association too.
