House of Delegates
Here's a chance to have your say about ASHP activities and other related matters. The ASHP House of Delegates, our major policy-making body, will convene at the Summer Meeting from June 5 through June 8. You are encouraged to participate as an observer at the first and second meetings of the House. Also, you are invited to share your views on policy proposals and comment on emerging issues at the Open Forum for Members and numerous Caucuses throughout the week. Mentoring Emerging Leaders Program
New for SM10! All New Practitioners are invited to participate in the “Mentoring Emerging Leaders” program. You will be paired up with a seasoned practitioner to help guide the way and you can take advantage of special perks and programs such as:

ASHP-Political Action Campaign (PAC) Event (ticket required)
Advocacy is one of the most powerful tools available to members of ASHP. Join us for a breakfast meeting of ASHP's Political Action Committee (PAC) to learn how pharmacists can best use your time, talents, and energy to strengthen ASHP's and your own voice in the local, state, and federal legislative process. The ASHP PAC enables your voice to be heard through campaign contributions to candidates for Congress who are supportive of ASHP's legislative issues.

Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture, Reception and Dinner (ticket required)
The most prestigious honor awarded in health-system pharmacy, the Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award is presented annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to health-system pharmacy practice. Enjoy an elegant evening in the company of your colleagues as we honor the 2010 recipient. Remember that seating is reserved and your coupon must be exchanged for table selection no later than 2 p.m. on Monday at the customer relations counter.
First-Timer and New Member Event
All attendees who are first-time Summer Meeting attendees or new ASHP members are invited to this "Open House" event in the Exhibit Hall on Monday, June 7, from 11:15-11:45 am. Plan on attending this special event just for you where you will have an opportunity to network and meet Section and Forum volunteer leaders.
