IMPORTANT ALERT: It has come to our attention that rogue/pirate housing companies have been approaching ASHP members and exhibitors offering hotel reservations. These companies are in no way affiliated with ASHP, the Summer Meeting, The Housing Connection, or Tampa Bay and Company. Reservations processed by these rogue/pirate housing companies may not be made at official Summer Meeting hotels and/or may not actually be secured/guaranteed at a Tampa hotel. The Housing Connection is the ONLY official housing company for the meeting and will not contact you directly to make a reservation.
ASHP has worked hard to provide exhibitors with a variety of quality hotels at competitive rates to select from in rates in Tampa. All official hotels are within walking distance of the Tampa Convention Center (the official location of all meeting activities).

Listed below are the two ways to submit hotel reservations for the Summer Meeting. For suite information (rates and availability) e-mail ASHP@housingregistration.com. Due to the current economic situation, ASHP is monitoring and negotiating daily on your behalf to provide the lowest available hotel rates, including rates that are lower than the top search engines!

Reserve Hotel Rooms (10 or more rooms)
Complete the Exhibitor Room Block Hotel Reservation Form to make reservations for 10 or more rooms. The form MUST be completed and signed to secure a room block. You can e-mail a completed and signed form to ASHP@housingregistration.com.
IMPORTANT: ALL exhibitors MUST READ our Exhibitor Hotel Room Block Policies prior to submitting the hotel reservation form.
Important Exhibitor Deadlines
- April 8 - A complete rooming list with names must be submitted for all blocks held. Any rooms not reserved will be released. Requests for additional rooms will be based on availability. Cancellations after April 8, 2010 will be subject to a $50 cancellation processing fee, per reservation.
- May 13 - The final cut off date to make a hotel reservation or reserve a room block is May 13, 2010 at 6:00pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) or until the group block is sold out, whichever occurs first. After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates.

The Housing Connection
ASHP is using The Housing Connection, the only official ASHP Housing Company, to coordinate hotel reservations for the meeting. Now more than ever we need for all exhibitors and sponsors participating in the meeting to make their hotel reservations through The Housing Connection. By doing so, you will be:
- Provided with an immediate email acknowledgement of your hotel assignment;
- Guaranteed that you made a reservation at an “official” ASHP hotel at an official ASHP rate;
- Provided with free access the internet in your guest room at all official Summer Meeting hotels;
- In receipt of important meeting related materials in your hotel room (door drops);
- Entitled to receive reduced rates at official meeting hotels;
- And much more!
When exhibitors and sponsors reserve rooms at hotels that are NOT within our official hotel block and/or do not use The Housing Connection:
- ASHP is exposed to penalties for not fulfilling our room block commitments;
- ASHP risks our ability to rebook preferred meeting hotels and receive reduced rates;
- ASHP could possibly lose qualification for the amount of space needed at the convention center;
- There is significant disruption to transportation services when others use the buses, since shuttle buses are planned according to the number of rooms reserved through the ASHP Housing Company.
