Congratulations to ASHP’s newly elected Section Officers. Members elected chairs and directors-at-large to serve on the executive committees of the Society's Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists; Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners; Section of Home, Ambulatory, and Chronic Care Practitioners; Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology; and Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers. All terms begin in June 2009.

James A. Trovato, Pharm.D., M.B.A., BCOP
, is an associate professor of pharmacy practice and science and director of the Oncology Pharmacy Residency Program at the University of Maryland (UM) School of Pharmacy, and oncology clinical specialist at the UM Greenbaum Cancer Center. Trovato’s ASHP service includes director-at-large for the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists and delegate to the ASHP House of Delegates. He also is a member of the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP) Editorial Board.
Lea S. Eiland, Pharm.D., BCPS, is an associate clinical professor of pharmacy practice at the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy and a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the
University
of
Alabama
at Birmingham School of Medicine, Huntsville Regional Medical Campus. Eiland has served ASHP as chair, vice-chair and member of the Council on Education and Workforce Development and as a member of the Task Force on Pharmacy’s Changing Demographics.
Trovato will serve a one-year term and Eiland will serve a two-year term.

Debra Cowan, B.S., Pharm.D.
, is director of pharmacy at
Angel
Medical
Center
. She has served ASHP as a member of the Section’s Small and Rural Hospital Advisory Group since its inception. At the previous two ASHP Midyear Clinical Meetings, she served as a moderator, speaker and leader of small and rural hospital networking sessions.
Richard J. Pacitti, Jr., Pharm.D., M.B.A.
, is clinical pharmacy manager and residency program director at the Crozer Keystone Health System Pharmacy Department. Pacitti has served as a member of the Section of Home, Ambulatory, and Chronic Care Practitioners Committee on Programming 2005 and a reviewer for AJHP.
Cowan will serve a one-year term and Pacitti will serve a two-year term.

Tim R. Brown, Pharm.D.
, is a pharmacotherapy specialist in the Family Medicine Residency Program in the Akron General Medical Center Department of Pharmacy. He has served as the Section’s director-at-large. Brown also is a past president of the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Anna Nowobilski-Vasilios, Pharm.D., M.B.A., BCNSP,
FASHP, is principal at Anovation, Inc. Previously she was senior vice president of care management services at OptionCare. Other positions Nowobilski-Vasilios held at OptionCare included residency director, continuing education administrator, vice president of clinical services, senior director of program development, national director of pharmacy, and director of franchise implementation at OptionCare.
Brown will serve a one-year term and Nowobilski-Vasilios will serve a two-year term.
Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology
J. Chad Hardy, Pharm.D., M.S.
, is the manager of pharmacy informatics for Harris County Hospital District in Houston. Hardy is currently serving ASHP as vice chair of the Section Advisory Group on Clinical Information Systems. He also has experience with ASHP publications and guidelines related to informatics.
Anne M. Bobb, B.S. Pharm.
, is an informatics pharmacist in the Department of Quality and Clinical Informatics at
Northwestern
Memorial
Hospital

Chicago
. She currently serves on the Section Advisory Group on Clinical Information Systems.
Hardy will serve a one-year term and Bobb will serve a two-year term.

Killingsworth’s current and past positions at ASHP include member of the Council on Organizational Affairs, chair and vice-chair of the Commission on Affiliate Relations and member of Foundation Development Committee.
Pawlicki will serve a one-year term and Killingsworth will serve a two-year term.
