For five days in December, health-system pharmacists from all over the world gathered at the sumptuous Venetian Resort and Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas to take part in the largest Midyear Clinical Meeting in ASHP’s history.
The 42nd ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition brought thousands of health-system pharmacists together to increase their knowledge, develop their abilities and improve their practices – all with the objective of advancing health-system pharmacy.

Opening Session
Dr. Angelou captivated this year's Midyear attendees with her lyrical vigor, fire, and perception. During her speech, which nearly 8,000 people attended, she recited and dedicated one of her very own works to ASHP, a poem entitled A Brave and Startling Truth.
