Get credit for what you learn

Programs presented at the Great eXpectations Conference for New Practitioners are developed to maintain and enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of pharmacists who are in the first years of professional practice.   Programs are designed to meet pharmacists' needs in a variety of health-care systems, including large and small hospitals, managed care and inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and homecare settings, as well as industry and academia.

The educational goal of this meeting is to provide information and instruction on a variety of topics to enable and empower new pharmacy practitioners---pharmacists in transition who struggle with the application of ideals gained from didactic study to the reality of practice. The goal of this conference is to fulfill this need for career development

Most educational sessions will be offered for CE credit. ASHP determines the number of credit hours for each session. Registrants may earn up to 10.5 contact hours (1.05 CEUs) at the Great eXpectations Conference. To receive CE credit, attendees must obtain a CE Session Code for each session they attend, and then submit an online CE Request Form. The session codes are announced only during the live sessions and are required for processing CE online. The CE session codes are not printed in the program book.

Some states have special continuing education requirements for program content. Please check with your state to determine if such requirements exist and to determine if these programs meet those requirements. Florida licensed practitioners, please self-report your CE to CE Broker.

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
