Stan Kent is Assistant Vice President at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Illinois. He oversees all pharmacy services in this four-hospital system and is the director of the postgraduate year one pharmacy residency. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an M.S. in Hospital Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin. He completed a residency in hospital pharmacy administration at the University of Wisconsin Hospital.

Mr. Kent is a past-president of the Wisconsin Society of Health System Pharmacists and a recipient of the Illinois Council of Health System Pharmacists' "Pharmacist of the Year" award. His ASHP service includes membership on the Council on Legal and Public Affairs, the Commission on Credentialing, the Board of Directors, and faculty member for the ASHP Leadership Academy. His interests include use of technology to improve medication use, residency training, and leadership development.
