- Caraco discontinued benzonatate capsules in mid-2015.
- Zydus states the reason for the shortage was manufacturing delay.
- Pfizer had Tessalon Perles on shortage due to supply and demand issues.
- Vertical discontinued Zonatuss in 2016.
