Target Audience
This continuing pharmacy education activity was planned to meet the needs of pharmacists and technicians who serve as program chairs, faculty and presenters of educational content at ASHP meetings with the interest in quality improvement. It is beneficial for everyone interested in presenting educational sessions for continuing pharmacy education credit at ASHP meetings.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this knowledge-based CPE activity, participants should be able to:
- List three active learning strategies that you can do in your presentation
- Identify one example of active assessment that you can do in your presentation
- Write down the purpose, the method, and the timing of an active learning strategy that you can do in your presentation.
Methods and Format
This recorded activity consists of audio recordings, slide presentation and an activity evaluation tool. Participants must listen, view the content in its entirety, and complete the course evaluation to receive continuing pharmacy education credit. Participants may print their official statements of continuing pharmacy education credit immediately following the activity. The estimated time to complete this activity is 60 minutes and is free of charge.
