Midyear Clinical Meeting
The ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting is the largest gathering of pharmacists in the world. With its focus on improving patient care, the meeting is attended by more than 20,000 pharmacy professionals from 86 countries. For four decades, the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting has provided healthsystem pharmacy practitioners with a venue for updating their knowledge, networking with colleagues, enhancing their skills, and learning about the latest products and technologies. The hundreds of educational activities at the Midyear Clinical Meeting are developed to maintain and enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of pharmacists and associated personnel in health systems. A dynamic venue for instruction on important issues relevant to contemporary pharmacy practice, the meeting’s five full days of continuing education sessions are unmatched anywhere.
Summer Meeting
The ASHP Summer Meeting is where the association provides continuing education credits through intensive skill development in emerging pharmacy concerns, kicks off its calendar year with the inauguration of new officers and board members, and hosts the proceedings of the House of Delegates. Attracting more than 3,000 pharmacy professionals from leadership, managerial, and supervisory roles in health-system practice, the meeting is also a gathering of leaders representing state pharmacy societies. Educational programming is structured around hot topics, series (stand-alone sessions focusing on key aspects of a single topic), and learning communities (tracks of plenary and breakout sessions within a specific topic). The meeting also includes poster presentations and an exhibit program.
National Residency Preceptors Conference
The National Residency Preceptors Conference (NRPC) is the only meeting purely dedicated to pharmacy residency training. The NRPC covers timely topics important to all program directors and preceptors of ASHP-accredited, ASHP-application submitted, and newly emerging residency training programs. This is a must-attend event for residency preceptors and directors who seek quality programming and networking opportunities with other preceptors across the country.
