Advisory Groups

The ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum has five advisory groups that provide advice and guidance to the Forum regarding the unique needs of student members and how these needs might be addressed by the provision of resources and programs by ASHP. The Chair of the Pharmacy Student Forum will appoint ten students to each advisory group for a June - May term. Advisory groups communicate primarily via e-mail and conference call on a periodic basis. Attendance at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting is encouraged, but not required, as the advisory group members have the opportunity to meet face-to-face. Prior elected / appointed leadership is NOT required, however, appointments are competitive. View the roster of current Advisory Group members [PDF].

Eligibility requirements:

  • ASHP student member in good standing
  • Enrolled in ACPE- accredited pharmacy school (e.g., rising P-1 through P-4 years)
  • Available to participate in all conference call meetings throughout the year

  • CV and/or resume
  • Cover letter
    Note: For individuals seeking appointment as the Advisory Group Chair, please also address your meeting management skills.
