Become a SSHP

While SSHPs are not chapters or affiliates of ASHP, they are closely linked to the programs, services, and activities of the Pharmacy Student Forum. When your school is initiating an SSHP for the first time, there are many components to consider: gaining student interest, relationship with the state affiliate, electing officers and developing governing documents are just a few. Here is a suggested "How to Get Started Checklist" so that your SSHP may prosper and strive to receive official ASHP-SSHP Recognition.

How to Get Started Checklist

State Affiliate SSHP Initiation

The ASHP State Affiliate (i.e., state society of health-system pharmacists) may provide the stimulus to develop a student society affiliate at a school of pharmacy in the state.
