Carol Wolfe, ASHP vice president of publications and drug information systems, presented last week at the Publishing Business Conference and Expo in New York City, the nation’s largest event for book and magazine publishing executives.

 

Wolfe was sought out by the conference planners because of ASHP’s success in providing mobile access to its publishing content.  Wolfe presented case studies of three ASHP mobile applications, including its interactive Handbook on Injectable Drugs, its iPad versions of ASHP eBooks, and the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, which will be released soon.

 

“We know from surveying our members and from watching industry trends that it is critical for us to provide mobile access to our content,” said Wolfe.   “We are moving quickly, tailoring development models to best meet the needs of our members and other customers.”
