I am excited to be a pharmacist! In 2020, the potential that pharmacists have to optimize healthcare and improve patient outcomes is greater now than ever. I advocate for advancing pharmacy practice at a local and national level, to ensure patients and healthcare providers alike recognize our value. Too often, pharmacists work in the background and do not receive the recognition or inclusion that reflects our contributions or solicits our input.

In my system-level role, I work with hundreds of pharmacists across CommonSpirit Health that practice in a variety of settings, including large academic medical centers, critical access hospitals, community hospitals, ambulatory care, infusion centers, and academia. I reinforce a structure that promotes pharmacists having a distinctive voice. Pharmacists lead or participate in local and national workgroups that shape treatment plans, innovate patient care, publish results, and present best practices.

I am passionate about cost-effective care and ensuring there is value in the therapies we use. I am interested in standardizing how clinical pharmacy productivity is measured. I am eager to achieve pharmacist provider status nationwide. I am enthusiastic to collaborate across healthcare disciplines, business units, government offices, and leadership levels to accomplish goals. I strive to accomplish the best outcomes and I encourage others to come along side me. I am a doer, I move the needle, I get it done. I am not good at taking no for an answer. There is SO MUCH we have yet to do. I can’t wait to get started.
