I am honored for the opportunity to serve as Director-at-Large of the Section of Clinical Scientists and Specialists. During my involvement within the Section, I have witnessed the level of growth and advocacy that ASHP regularly undertakes for membership with the ultimate goal focused on advancement of our profession. When working with ASHP, the sky is the limit as programming will be developed along with resources for all facets of the profession. I have been fortunate to participate at the ground level of some of these endeavors during my time on the Section Advisory Group. During my tenure, significant advancements included development of an emergency medicine recorded pharmacist series to enhance knowledge within the profession and creation of an emergency care resource center to expand knowledge base for pharmacists of all experience levels.
If elected, I would follow the direction of ASHP and put the members first and foremost while advocating for practice advancement. I would serve as the member’s voice and promote active collaboration, membership, and information exchange. I will use my prior experiences within the Section to drive practice improvement and active engagement of the membership. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve ASHP and the members of the Section.
