- Novolin R Flexpen solution for injection, Novo Nordisk, 100 unit/mL, 3 mL pen injector, 5 count, NDC 00169-3003-15

Reason for the Shortage

- Lilly discontinued Humulin R in 3 mL vials. The 10 mL vials are on shortage due to increased demand.
- Novo Nordisk did not provide a reason for the shortage.

Estimated Resupply Dates

- Lilly has Humulin R 100 unit/mL in 10 mL vials on intermittent back order and the company is releasing supplies as they become available.
- Novo Nordisk has Novolin R Flexpens on intermittent back order and the company is releasing supplies as they become available.
