    • Flavored Colestid oral granules for suspension, Pfizer, 7.5 grams flavored colestipol (5 grams of colestipol) per scoop, 450 gram bottle, NDC 00009-0370-05 - discontinued
    • Colestipol hydrochloride oral granules for suspension, Greenstone (Viatris), 5 grams / foil packet, 30 count, NDC 59762-0260-01 - discontinued

Reason for the Shortage

    • Pfizer discontinued Colestid granules for suspension in 5 gram packets in November 2023. The 450 gram bottles were also discontinued.
    • Greenstone (Viatris) discontinued colestipol granules for suspension in 5 gram packets in November 2023.
    • Colestipol 500 gram bottles with scoop remain available.
