Reason for the Shortage

    • Apotex has discontinued azithromycin injection.
    • AuroMedics did not provide a reason for the shortage.
    • Fresenius Kabi had azithromycin injection on shortage due to increased demand.
    • Pfizer had azithromycin injection on shortage due to manufacturing delays.
    • Slate Run Pharmaceuticals had seen increased demand.
    • Sun Pharma is not currently manufacturing azithromycin injection.
