Reason for the Shortage

    • West-Ward stopped actively marketing amifostine in October 2016. They were the sole supplier of generic amifostine.

    • Ethyol powder for solution for injection, Cumberland Pharmaceuticals, 500 mg, vial, 3 count, NDC 66220-0017-03

    • Cumberland Pharmaceuticals has Ethyol readily available.
